i've been bitching about not being home....i miss home and my friends and some family but i have to suck it up and get my phD. as it goes i talk to most of the suckers i want to talk to via cell phones, blogs and email.
but i get to explore the city like today....sitting in the chinatown starbucks...you get to see a bunch of chinese folks run for their lives from the cops for selling bootleg movies...that's some funny sh$%%^.
i bought some dvds from bestbuy today eddie murpy raw, classic eddie funny stuff and kids. you know that crazy movie. i'm going to save that movie and show my kids to scare the crap out of them. see ignorance and hanging out with the wrong folks will ruin your life.
anyways it nice to rant. by the way, does anyone know what a turbo is? (hint: it's a kitchen appliance)

If it's a Turbo Oven then it's a hot air convection oven that looks like a pop-corn popper. Upside down glass bowl with a big fan on top and a heating element in the bottom. Is that what you are referring to??

yes it was! my parents have had one for years and have tried to supplement our kitchen with one and have been scouring chinatown for it but can't find it. they have one at the lido market, red lion seafood, and international market in california. i couldn't carry more stuff home when we went home and came back. think i should risk ordering one online? do you think this can cook thawed food?
